Amangiri Resort

The Amangiri was the first Aman Resort constructed in the United States. In 2006, Alan Money and Ken Paulson collaborated on the design and construction support to create a magnificent pool inlayed into a Navajo Sandstone monolith rising out of the desert sands of Utah. Concept Architects Rick Joy and Wendell Burnette had a special vision for the pool that would become the focal point of the surrounding resort. RIM Architects completed their vision as the architects of record. It was necessary to jump through many hoops with the local health department to complete this one-of-a-kind pool.
