The Four Seasons Hotel

This sky-high pool built on the 57th floor of the Comcast Center took 6 years from design phase to completion. Long term projects need long term relationships with the aquatics and architectural team.

In this case, the main filtration and sanitation equipment was located on the floor above the pool with the building mechanical systems. Hotel rooms below the pool were valuable space for revenue. The pool pumping systems were placed at pool level and the remaining equipment found a home with a great view of the Philadelphia skyline.

This stainless and fully tiled pool was built off site by Bradford Products then shipped from North Carolina and craned into place from the street below. Precise coordinate between contractors and the design team is needed on all elevated pool projects to provide an outcome of this class.
