Sandy Springs Veterans Park

Sandy Springs Veterans Park provides a special place for residents to commemorate the community's veterans. The park was opened on Veterans Day of 2023. The fountain design mirrors the Performing Art Center located across the street. This fountain and the ones at the Performing Art Center were a collaboration with the Atlanta office of Barge Design Solutions.

Construction consists of a poured in place concrete floor and wall system with stone finishes and two underground concrete vaults, one for the circulation and nozzle booster pumps, the other for the chemical treatment system. Nine nozzles are associated with each fountain booster pump supplying the needed volume for the nozzles. The height of the nozzle spray is adjusted up and down with the VFD controller on each pump.
